Perfect Pairs Blackjack is played with two decks of black jack cards. As you will see, this is most important, because it is the two decks that makes achieving a perfect pair possible.

Bear in mind that the dealer's card has nothing to do with your side bet, which is determined solely by your first two cards. If your first two cards are a mixed pair, a coloured pair, or a perfect pair, you win the side bet. If you do not have a pair, you lose. That's all there is to it.
