I had to pay for our wedding with the black jack game

I had just announced my engagement and my parents wanted to take me and my fianc out for dinner. I was excited about that, but when it came down to it, it was an incredible disappointment. They confessed - rather meekly - that some years ago (figuring at 35 years old I was unlikely to tie the knot), they had spent the money originally set aside for my wedding on expensive new cars. Now there was nothing left. I was frantic, but Dave (my fianc) suggested I play the black jack game as a way of making the necessary money. I had always been good at the black jack game but had never imagined the black jack game would make enough money to pay for my wedding. Given that I had little choice in the matter however, I decided I might as well give the black jack game a chance. And so I did, that same evening on returning from dinner with my parents.

Gambling on the black jack game really worked for me. I was really good at the black jack game and it turned out I was making a ton of money. Thanks to the black jack game, I would probably not resent my parents after all, since I would have the dream wedding I always wanted.
