Blackjack Boulevard was the talk of the town. Vegas was hoping with Blackjack Boulevard and Jake couldn't believe his luck. He thought back to his humble beginnings. He had started Blackjack Boulevard the month after finishing hotel management school, and graduating at the bottom of his class. Everyone had laughed at him, assuming that Blackjack Boulevard would never take off. But, Jake was smarter than his grades had implied. He was willing to take a risk on a little hotel and to put down roots away from the main strip in Vegas.

Jake almost fainted when he saw Billy at the door, and he laughed out loud when he thought of the faces of his classmates when they saw the newspaper the next year.
