The great thing about black jack is that the basic strategy takes a lot of the gamble out of black jack gambling. Sure, winning big in black jack requires luck as well as skill, but black jack gambling is not that big a risk if you learn the strategy and stick to it. Black jack gambling is one of the most stable forms of gambling - if (and it's a big if) you don't stray from the path outlined by the basic strategy. Black jack gambling is way more reliable (if you can call any gambling game reliable) than, say, slot machines or keno or roulette; games that rely on luck and luck alone.

Black Jack Gambling is Easy if you Follow the Strategy

If gambling means "taking a chance," then when you play black jack, gambling shouldn't be what you're strictly doing. Taking chances and playing your hunches and flying by the seat of your pants is not what you should be doing when you're playing black jack. Good black jack gambling is a discipline of sorts; it requires learning the basic strategy chart and following it. If black jack gambling is too rigid for you, then you have two choices - you can either lose or try another game. Black jack gambling is great because you can win consistently - why would anyone mind that?
